Dr. McConnell graduated from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and has been working as a small animal practitioner for the last six years. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Animal Science from Rutgers University in 2014. She went on to complete her certification in canine rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee, as she has a strong interest in physical therapy and healing. Dr. McConnell is currently in the process of obtaining her MBA from Rutgers University.
Dr. McConnell oversaw the physical therapy department at the Westwood Regional Veterinary Hospital and lead the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber operations. Her interests include emergency medicine and surgery, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and laboratory animal medicine and research.
In her spare time, Dr. McConnell spends time with her two beautiful children, Giovanni and Ava. She enjoys working on her house and spending time with her black lab, Duke, German Shepherd, Esti, and her tabby cat, Rambo.
